Friends’ Association

Founded in 1988, the non-profit association “Friends of the Martin Opitz Library” brings together readers who share an interest in supporting the Library and its work.

The association supports the Library in carrying out its wide range of cultural responsibilities.

Ideational and Material Support:

  • supporting events such as lectures, readings and exhibitions
  • supporting the publication of books and other materials
  • expanding the Library’s collections and technical infrastructure
  • fostering national and international academic exchange

You, too, can support the work of the Martin Opitz Library by becoming a member of the Friends’ Association.

Your annual membership fee helps ensure that the Martin Opitz Library can continue to fulfil its cultural mission well into the future.

The annual membership fee of €15 goes entirely and without deduction to the Library.
